Keep Eczema Under Control Without Resorting to Steroids

Most people who have suffered from eczema know that steroids really don't help in the long run and often lead to a vicious cycle of thinning skin and tearing leading to more itching and breakouts that increase in severity causing the need for more and more powerful steroids. You can't win.

I've had eczema on and off for many years and I've learned the hard way how to be preventative. Here are my top 3 ways to do that.

1. Eat more fish. The Omega 3 fatty acids found in fish, flax and walnuts, help our skin to stay supple. If you don't always have time to cook, here's a way to get a good dose in a vegan treat made with coconut oil, walnuts and flax.

2. Use this special recipe for a super hydrating cream that works better than anything I've ever found. I used this every chance i get and it never fails to amaze me.

DIY East Meets West Cream

you'll need

1 C. extra virgin cold pressed coconut oil

1 C. Original Eucerin Cream in the pot

Warm both ingredient and whip together using an electric mixer or hand beaters. Let cool to room temp and n.joy!

3. Reduce stress in your life in any way you can. I know that's easier said then done. It does make a huge difference, however. Here's an article with some ideas on how to unwind when you're usually the one taking care of everyone.

If lack of energy and weight gain has you stressed, look here for my original ideas or the quickstart plan I used to start my 100 lbs weight loss and keep it off for 12 years+
